Delivery points for the four walks in the POD, straight off the frame template. Walks 1 and 2 are the shared van pair. Walks 3 and 4 are the singleton.
A common hand method puts the high rate on one walk and the low rate on the other, then swaps them the next day. The RMG slide says something different: each OPG runs 4 high‑rate loops and 4 low‑rate loops across all of their own ground, every day. This tool follows the slide. That is why the high and low figures here both apply to the full duty rather than to one walk each.
Each walk is expressed as a fraction of a standard walk. That fraction is applied to the slide’s own per‑route times — 2:25 for all mail plus 1:07 for parcels and 1c — then the slide’s fixed 0:20 outdoor M/R and 0:10 stem are added. On an office where every walk is exactly the standard size, all three OPGs land on 1.33 routes and 5:13, which is exactly what the slide shows. Anything above 5:13 is ground the plan did not allow for.
Five different numbers are in circulation for the same assumption. All of them are listed here so a rep can show which one is being used and where it came from.

Every time above derives from a single nominal route. 2:25 divided by three gives the 0:48 third. 2:25 multiplied by four thirds gives the singleton’s 3:13. The model balances because both duty types carry 1.33 routes. The slide is based on a 5 hour Yard‑to‑Yard starting point.
